This is shocking news that, A 5.7 magnitude strong earthquake jolts India’s Capital City New Delhi and it’s adjacent on Monday June 20, 2011 evening at 5:02 pm reported by Indian Meteorological Department. The met department said the quake’s strength was medium and quake was depth 10 kilometer in Indian Nepal border. No any damages and loss of lives have been reported informed by resources.
Earthquake felt at Lucknow and Kanpur in Uttar Pardesh were reported in Shimla in Himachal Pradesh as well.
After the earthquake the Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) was closed at the time of quake, but now functioning normally.
